Weekend Workshop in Creative Writing with Anglo-Danish Novelist Liz Jensen
September 12 - 13, 2020 in Kvarterhuset, Copenhagen
Part masterclass, part hands-on workshop, the sessions will consist of flash fiction exercises, brainstorming, workshopping and discussion.
The aim is to generate fresh material while learning about key aspects of the craft such as character development, story structure, dialogue, and the editing process.
The teaching is in English, but you are also welcome to write in Danish if you prefer.

The course takes place in Kvarterhuset, Jemtelandsgade 3 - just a few minutes walking from Amagerbro Metrostation. We will be in the room "Centrum" on the 1st floor from 9 AM to 5 PM both days.
Full catering is included: Light breakfast and tea/coffee upon arrival, sandwiches and soft drinks for lunch and coffee and cake in the afternoon.
Remember to bring writing accessories such as pen & paper, notebook and/or laptop.

LIZ JENSEN is an experienced teacher of creative writing and the genre-mashing author of eight novels, including the best-selling The Rapture, the Hollywood-adapted The Ninth Life of Louis Drax, and most recently, The Uninvited.
Her work has been translated into over 20 languages including Danish.
As well as being a regular reviewer for The Guardian and the BBC, Liz spent ten years as Writer in Residence at Kingston University in London.
She also teaches regularly for the Arvon Foundation in the UK.
