Mads Bunch

Mads Bunch (f. 1974) er mag. art. og ph.d. i nordisk litteratur fra Københavns Universitet.

 

Han er stifter og leder af CPH: School of Creative Writing.

Foruden de hundredevis af deltagere, han har undervist på skriveskolen, har han ogsåundervist i faget Creative Writing i Teori og Praksis på Københavns Universitet, Institut for Nordiske Studier og Sprogvidenskab, hvor han var Adjunkt og Ekstern Lektor i nordisk litteratur frem til 2018, hvor han gik solo med skriveskolen.

Mads er forfatter til en række bøger om dansk og nordisk samtidslitteratur bl.a. Samtids-billeder (2009), Millennium. Nye retninger i nordisk litteratur (2013) og Selvfortalt. Autofiktioner på tværs: prosa, lyrik, teater, film (2015) sammen med Poul Behrendt. 

Han er medlem af redaktionsgruppen for Lapidar – tidsskrift for noveller og prosa.

Pablo Llambías

Pablo Llambías (f. 1964), er forfatter og tidligere rektor på Forfatterskolen.

Han debuterede i 1996 med novellesamlingen Hun har en altan. Efterfølgende har Pablo Llambías lavet en række romaner, noveller, dokumentarfilm og kortfilm og udstillet som billedkunstner.

 

I 2015 udkom den populære skrivebog Skrivning for begyndere og i 2017 romanen Natteskær og senest den anmelderroste Zombierådhus (2019), der vandt Kritikerprisen

Pablo Llambías er bl.a. blevet tildelt Otto Gelsted Prisen 2008 og SFC Prisen 2002 for sit forfatterskab.

Pablo har i en årrække undervist i et længere hold for øvede her på skolen, men vil fremover afholde udvalgte en eller to-dags workshops.

Solvej Balle

Solvej Balle (f. 1962) udgav sin første roman Lyrefugl i 1986, men fik sit helt store gennembrud med fortællesamlingen Ifølge loven fra 1993, der er oversat til ti sprog. Hun har en kandidatgrad i filosofi og har undervist på Forfatterskolen, hvor hun selv er uddannet fra.  I en periode på fem år var hun redaktør på danske litteraturtidskrift Den Blå Port. Hun har skrevet noveller, lyrisk prosa og essayistiske memoir. I februar 2020 udgav hun første del af syv dele af romanen Om udregning af rumfang i genren spekulativ fiktion.  Hun bor og arbejder på Ærø.

Liz Jensen 

Liz Jensen is an experienced teacher of creative writing and the genre-mashing author of eight novels, including the best-selling The Rapture, the Hollywood-adapted The Ninth Life of Louis Drax, and most recently, The Uninvited.

 

Her work has been translated into over 20 languages including Danish.

 

As well as being a regular reviewer for The Guardian and the BBC, Liz spent ten years as Writer in Residence at Kingston University in London.

She also teaches regularly for the Arvon Foundation in the UK.

 

Liz is currently living in Denmark and, dividing her time between Copenhagen and Marstal.

Claire Bartlett

Claire Bartlett is a writer of English-language short and long fiction, primarily fantasy and science fiction.

 

Her debut novel WE RULE THE NIGHT (2019) was a critical success in the young adult world, and called one of the best novels of 2019 by Publishers Weekly.

 

She is also the author of THE WINTER DUKE (2020) and THE GOOD GIRLS (2020).

Claire originally comes from Colorado, USA, but left at eighteen and traveled to many places before settling in Denmark for good. Her favorite pastime is learning all about strange histories that she can use in her work.

Alexander Weinstein

Alexander Weinstein is the author of the short story collection Children of the New World (Picador 2016) which was chosen as a best book of the year by NPR, Google, and Electric Literature and a Notable Book of the Year by The New York Times. 

In January 2020 came his second collection of short stories (speculative fiction) Universal Love

His writing and interviews have appeared in Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, The Boston Globe, World Literature Today, Best American Science Fiction & Fantasy 2017, and Best American Experimental Writing 2017.

 

He is a recipient of a Sustainable Arts Foundation Award, and his fiction has been awarded the Lamar York, Gail Crump, Hamlin Garland, and New Millennium Prizes.

 

He is an Associate Professor of Creative Writing, Director of The Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creating Writing and a freelance editor.

Alexander did a Creative Writing Weekend Workshop at The Karen Blixen Museum in the spring of 2019.

Anders Lustgarten

Anders Lustgarten has had over a dozen professional stage productions since becoming a full time writer in 2013, at theatres including the Royal Court Theatre Downstairs, the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has been described as “Britain’s foremost political playwright”, if you believe the Guardian. His play Lampedusa was produced at the Husetsteater in Copenhagen in 2017 to excellent reviews. He is also writing film and TV projects for companies including Kudos and Warp. A graduate of Oxford University and the University of California-Berkeley, Anders is a hugely experienced teacher who is currently Lecturer in Playwriting at Manchester University.
